​#AZSportsHOF ELIGIBILITY​ CRITERIA

The candidate shall be an individual who has merited recognition and distinction in sports and who has brought fame and honor to the State of Arizona through outstanding sporting accomplishments or contributions. Candidates are eligible through any one of three criteria: 
​

1. A native of Arizona

2. Immediately recognized as an Arizonan

3. Have made at least two significant contributions in the athletic community in the State of Arizona.

The Trustees will be responsible for electing at least four (4) new members to the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame annually.  One (1) additional member will be voted on by a public vote.  All potential new members to the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame must meet the criteria of the Hall. The Arizona Sports Hall of Fame Trustee Board Members have the final say and responsibility on who is inducted into the #AZSportsHOF.
